W changed the calendar in Texas when he was governor. I think he came up with the idea after a long night of drinking beer, snorting coke and playing poker out on his ranch in Crawford!Good trick, ceara!

So then it's a moot point. She had no proof, and you also have witnesses for when you have them over. So the "abuse" is a nonissue.no she has no proof, because no one did anything to them.
thanks again to everyone.

Because he lets her? If it's his court ordered time, she has NO SAY at all where the kids are. Y'all could pick them up every other weekend and drop them off at the sister's house if you wanted to.If it truely is my husbands time, then what reason would she have to say no to that?
Getting fired twice is voluntary? When you need a job you have to take what you can get at the time. You start letting arrears build up for too long, and they take away your ability to work by suspending your DL or putting you in jail. He is doing the kids no justice by letting that happen. I hate that the OAG treats everyone like their a dead beat. And by the way, I re read your post about the pay cuts. It's possible - even likely - that the reason hubby hasn't received a downward modification in CS is because his pay cut is seen as voluntary.
It depends on what he got fired for. But being fired usually IS considered voluntary. Being laid off is involuntary. The OAG's office treats EVERYONE like crap, NCP & CP alike. A CP has just as much chance at being screwed over by them as an NCP. I have yet to see a case where the OAG had an NCP arrested when they were paying at least PART of the support obligation. Putting someone in jail costs the state money and it's not good for their bottom line. Same with the DL suspension, as long as a true effort is being made, they don't pursue suspension. Even if they did suspend his license, San Antonio is full of other transportation options.Getting fired twice is voluntary? When you need a job you have to take what you can get at the time. The OAG doesn't treat me like a deadbeat. OH WAIT, maybe that is because I don't owe back child supportGetting fired twice is voluntary? It also might have something to do with not feeling welcome to spend the night with dad.The OAG doesn't treat me like a deadbeat. OH WAIT, maybe that is because I don't owe back child support
cmon, cut the excuses, everyone makes sacrifices, you just choose to NOT make them for the children that came before your own. Of course they don't ask you to spend the night, it is much easier to have mom explain why they can't than to have DAD tell them no.
Call centers regulary cut people when they spend too much time on the phone with clients and don't make enough sales. I met and worked with him for a year before the company gave up and let him go. I was in the same boat but was moved to another area and have been here ever since. It depends on what he got fired for. But being fired usually IS considered voluntary. Being laid off is involuntary. Why is it that you read into things? The OAG doesn't treat me like a deadbeat. OH WAIT, maybe that is because I don't owe back child support
That's a bunch of BS.It also might have something to do with not feeling welcome to spend the night with dad.
