What is the name of your state? MD, but custody order is out of PA.
My 8yo son just told me that his father does not have hot water in his home, and to bathe, his father is heating the water on the stove, and then carrying it upstairs to put in the tub and then adds cold water to it. I asked for how long? And he said about 5 months, since the summer. My son said that his dad tried to fix it himself and broke it and hasn't got it fixed.
His father and I already have a terrible relationship. We don't communicate, well, at all. On one hand it could be so much worse, but on the other hand, I still don't feel I should try to justify why his father can't get hot water in his home, especially during the winter, and be without it for so long.
Is there anything I can / should do? My son only goes for two weekends per month as it is... so it's not like he's there for any extended period right now, but does spend over 2 months in the summer.
I know what I think is an issue isn't necessarily what the courts deem as an issue to bring to them. But then if I don't make an issue now that I found out, then I can't bring it up at all. Kinda damned if I do, damned if I don't.
