"Real" legal advice would be telling her that yes, she is absolutely entitled to see copies of the other kids statements and the judge will be forced to charge her child the way SHE wants it to happen and that of course HER child is as pure as the driven snow and will get out of this scott-free. "Real" legal advice would be telling her what she wants to hear.

Nope, i'm taking this one. I'm going to happily tell OP just what she wants to hear so she can walk away singing....mostly walk away which is my point.

Ok OP, here goes. Your son did nothing wrong. All you have to do is explain this to his attorney and everything will become clear. Also, those statements you wanted to gather from others? Go ahead as those will have much clout here. When his time comes in court the judge will see this and spank him on the rear and send him on his way back home to you. He will never have to pay any fines, he will never be sent to juvie and things will end like a bowl of roses.
