Dad and I are both 25. Step is 22. Her mom is his aunt. Very weird situation LoL.

Um... I will say he was/is a wannabe philanderer. He hit on anything in a skirt. Even after he and wife got married, when we started talking again, he thought we could be much more than co-parents or even friends. I nipped that in the bud.

My X's GF was much like your X. Shall we say she was the other woman? In any case, I knew everyone of his "friends." She has behaved in much the same fashion, but has learned to stay very clear of me. She was more than welcome to him. PS - it appears that he is cheating on the GF; could have told her that would come.

She is very much afraid of you. She thinks you might actually be able to put your claws into HER man - therefore, because of PICU rules, she would have actually had to "allow" HER man to be with you ALONE. It will KILL her when she can't be there and you have to deal with dad without her.

My prediction if you get the "no-third-party-interference" thing in place that dad will disappear.

Just wanted to let you folks know that we have had another problem-free night and today was a great day. =)

His lungs are looking fantastic compared to what they were just a short few days ago!

The doctor this morning is thinking Tuesday is our day to go home, thank goodness. Absent any significant changes to little mans health.

Dad's lawyer called mine yesterday and told her they would be filing contempt against me unless I agree to his demands for make up time. (His lawyer is... Well.... Not the best)
My lawyer said not to worry, she will nail them both to the wall if they even try it. I hope so! I still have all my stuff that says kiddo was here in the hospital and couldn't very well "go" for a visit.

I am so glad to hear your baby is doing better! I am sure your lawyer can nail them on those ridiculous contempt charges. They are so going to be their own worsts enemies.

I know she is an extremely jealous piece of work. In the 53 texts I have saved from her, 3 of them have said that she doesn't trust him and she would "eff up" anyone he tried to mess with. (not enough eye rolls in the world for that one). Why even be involved with someone you don't trust?

I'm not sure about the no third party clause causing him to disappear... He is, however, allowed to do the pick up and drop off without her. And in all honesty, I don't want him out of Son's life. I just want her to keep her trap shut and learn her place.

Hey Hon...I just saw this thread!! I am just so happy that your son is doing better!!! It is totally mid-blowing that his father could actually think that a Judge would cite you for contempt because his son was in the hospital deathly ill...What a POS he is!

That is awesome news that he's on the mend.

Just shaking my head here at your ex. Actually I'm convinced the gf is behind most of it. I think most of us would love to be in the courtroom when your lawyer explains how your son was on a ventilator and that was why he couldn't go for a visit with dad. And, that dad never once showed up there to actually see how serious it was.

I think dad would leave the courtroom with a new orifice.
