I am going to give you my honest answer (but know this I am not trying to badmouth anyone here, not trying to make anyone look bad), he drove up to Michigan a year ago the grandmother had them up there and it was agreed that he would keep them for two weeks when arrived he went to get the children and the grandmother was intoxicated and would not give over the children, in turn he called the kids mother and she called her mother and told her to give the kids to them and she would not hand them over and started yelling, well instead of making a bad situation worse, we left went to the local P.D. and they returned with us and since it was not in court writing and in a written agreement, we could not have the kids, so we contacted the mother again, mind you she already agreed to this, and all that was said since she was not there she could not make her mother hand over the kids, the cops took the grandmother to jail, and the kids stayed with family until the mother flew in to get them, he also tried getting them for this christmas, and she said no she did not want the kids away from the other siblings on christmas, (which I can kinda understand that), so he said what about thanksgiving, she said no, and he has not be able to get in touch with her since, that was the last straw and he is currently looking into trying to get a lawyer for visitation rights.
