WHY are you expecting a spouse to provide financial protection at all?!
Well I don't know Dog, but I think if we are putting a price on "wifely" duties then I should definetly get 10k a night spent with me. Just saying. :D Dang, I should have had a pre nup stipulating that.

Because of the over inflated sense of entitlement OP seems to have. Op seems to think soon to be husband should continue her worthless self pity party even after he's decided she was a burden he is not willing to bear anymore...which if they do marry I definitely forsee happening.

oo so he'd much rather the wife live in a homeless shelter.."because of the hardness of your hearts." and not soo much dollar amount but the fact I would have nothing to pick up and move on with.
I'm going to stomp in one more time OP..mostly because this one really burns me> I'm going to make it nice and easy for your mind to wrap around ok?

Take a look at the bolded statement ok? Take another look...keep looking...has it burned itself into your vision?

GOOD

Because the nothing you will have to pick up and move on with is because of YOU...NOT your husband. It will be because YOU have never bothered to save during those 20 yrs of working, because YOU have never bothered to take care of yourself but rather chosen to rely solely on others, because YOU cannot seem to grasp that its not the worlds responsibility to keep YOU out of the homeless shelter. You want to have something to leave with? GET IT! And NOT from the man you claim to love who actually HAS worked for something.

Oh man, if we're referring to "certain wifely duties" then i'm just as financially SOL as OP LOL. Being preggers doesnt exactly make one feel...um...sexy :D
Yea, but If I was charging that rate I probably wouldn't be preggo with baby number 6 right now! :D

Hahaha didnt even think about it that way LOL! I wouldnt currently be sick as all get up and eating everything in sight and making more visits to the loo than my 6yr old on a car trip (as a mom i'm sure you get this one :p)...oh the powers of hindsight *sigh* :D

How do you handle it without losing your mind??? I can barely deal with one grandchild.
Lots and lots of laughter. You figure out real quick to laugh at the silly stuff and to pick which battles you fight. That and organization with strict 8:30pm bedtimes to give mommy some alone time. :p Oh, and did I mention naps. ;)
