Agreed. Most attorneys, even the most expensive ones, will give a free initial consultation to potential clients. This has no bearing whatsoever on the fee structure they later present to said potential clients.

Back when I worked for an attorney, he was the only one in his circle that did free consultations. The paralegal and I gave him grief for that. And he worked in Beverly hills. But he would NEVER take a case like this on contingency.
