Nope. Not really. Because if you don't have LEGAL custody of the child, mom is using you as a babysitter. You are still not daddy and are still a legal stranger.
I don't think he's gonna get it Ohiogal. As soon as mommy finds a new place to crash, she's gonna take the baby back and OP is going to be wondering wth happened.

I will be taking care of my son 6/7 days in a week. This is awesome!

This changes everything. Baby's mamma got into a fight with mother, and cannot live with her anymore! Bad for her, good for me
You should file in court to establish Paternity and Custody/Visitation. In CA, any contested custody issues go to mediation...the mediator will contact babysitter, Gma etc. and establish what the 'status quo' has been in order to make an appropriate custody determination.

You have established 'status quo' by this schedule going on as long as it has...so you need to provide evidence of that in court in order to receive primary physical custody. (You'll both share joint legal~ as that's nearly a given in CA)

Contact the court near you and ask if they have a Family Law Facilitator's office...if they do, go there to receive assistance in filing the appropriate documents.

Go to the family law faciliatir's office located in your county Superior court, file for temp emergency custody, based on the fact that you already signed the AOP and have the child 6/7 and mom is homeless. File for custody, child support and visitation. Be sure to collect your evidence, receipts and declarations. Your county may have a website where you can access their self help section or you may retain a family law attorney.

Yup. Because the need to establish paternity is a feminist plot.
You'd be surprised how many men are confused by the facts behind the need to establish Paternity~ And it doesn't help that many women DO use it to stall/avoid father's getting their Rights established.

Since OP signed the AOP & has established 'status quo' (over 6 mos.- 1 yr. of a consistent schedule), along with the recent change in parenting time...OP actually has a good chance of getting at least 50/50 if he follows the advice he's been given ASAP.

ME?? I rarely bash men...in fact many posters think I'm male.

And um...Blonde? The only sex I came close to 'bashing' in that post were the women who use Paternity establishment as a game to avoid fathers having time with their children...which leads many of them to become 'confused' as to what they need to do in the first place.

Weird. I've never seen them by that brand. Around here, they're called Flav-R-Ice. And I have a box of 200 of them sitting in my pantry. I'm pretty sure they're ONLY available by the ton.
LOL . I still wanna know how you ride them ?
