I don't know about you or anyone else but I for one do not compare my children to animals.
True, and though I get CJane's point it wasn't a fair analogy at all.
(Even allowing for the extrapolation)

I dunno, that general idea of bearing absolutely no responsibility for something because you've "done what you felt was necessary" is just ridiculous.True, and though I get CJane's point it wasn't a fair analogy at all.

I agree on principle. However I still think the analogy you used was misplaced.I dunno, that general idea of bearing absolutely no responsibility for something because you've "done what you felt was necessary" is just ridiculous.
We often believe that the way people treat their animals is the way they'd treat their children. It's not a far stretch from some guy kicking his dog to thinking "I wonder if he treats his kids like that?"
If you're so irresponsible that you don't think it's 'necessary' to fix your dog, and arrogant enough to say "well, SHE wandered over here, that litter of puppies has NOTHING to do with ME!"... well, I gotta wonder how you're raising your kids. Certainly not to be responsible.
Oh yea, and I got rid of the dang Jehovahs that came to my door by telling them I worshiped satan. They never came back
How do you know I wasn'tDang. That only works here if you answer the door nekkid.
(So I'm told )
Touché, my Greek wonder LOLHow do you know I wasn't
I'll have you know my children 12 and 10 are very well educated in the sex department. They know about it all and all the consequences if they chose to go down that road especially before marriage. My children are the ones who know the facts and have all the information they need to make an informed decision whatever they decide.I dunno, that general idea of bearing absolutely no responsibility for something because you've "done what you felt was necessary" is just ridiculous.

I can't help but wonder why you'd rather "zap" your dog than just get him neutered. Makes no sense to me.Animals seem to lack that control until you put an electric zap on them.
He would still need the fence neutered or not. Neutering isn't going to magically keep him in the yard .I can't help but wonder why you'd rather "zap" your dog than just get him neutered. Makes no sense to me
