Some of the cabins in the Ozarks sleep 4-6 people.... 3 bedrooms, and we can always double or triple up to cut costs as well. (yes, I'm a penny pincher) LOL

Oh crap! The Ozarks? I hope the rest of it doesn't look like Ft. Lost in the Woods! It looks like something out of a sci-fi movie and I did my time there. It gets really cold there too. Average temp is in the high 50's - low 60's in March Grace!! Although, it will get down to the 30's at night. Good snugglin' weather

And OK, so you won't be able to swim. But you can go fishing, boating, go to Branson, nature rides on horse trails, hiking, (shakes head... nope, that one aint for me) Click on some of the links up there Grace. There IS civilization there, not like ya were in Ft. Lost in the Woods! LMAO

Ok that's 9 definates (plus 7 possible hubbies) and 6 Maybe's (plus 6 possible spouses).

Bring the kids! I found some hotels that offer "Kids stay free"

Also checked out weather and stuff in NE. In March it's still in the 40's, so I think that NE may be a bad idea. Need some SERIOUS ideas on where to have this.

Ryry, it's ok to "let the cat out of the bag". Rad and I decided, "what the heck". We are totally happy about the baby and want to share it with the world!! Even designed a beautiful web page for our family. It's in my profile!

Okay, and what in the heck is the weather like in March for you guys? Really why are we having this during the school year?? Can't we have it during June or beginning of August when it is nice enough to be outside and the kids are out of school? I am NOT going to this convention without my hubby and kids...sorry.

I loved Lake of the Ozarks except I always thought it was in Arkansas? Damn, I slept too much on that trip with my family!!! lol!

I still like colorado. Someone look up info on Red Rocks Concerts it is a great thing to see from what i hear, I lived there a year and never got to go because it was closed for renovations but my brother says it is the coolest place to go for a concert.

Ya know, that might not be a bad idea. The baby will be here on April 22 (I'm being induced). In August "she" will be 4 months old and the girls will be living with us and we will know what's going on with rad and the boys by that time. August would be a lot more fun and also give us some time to plan and save. Plus I will be able to have a drink too!!!

We could do like an out doorsy thingy. It would be less expensive than everyone huddling indoors and being bored.

Ok that gives us a year! Lets get something good going!!!!

The Ozark Mountains go into Arkansas, but Lake of The Ozarks is located in central Missouri. Southwest of Jefferson City, and northeast of Springfield. Almost smack dab in the middle of those 2 cities.

Oh man LMSP, I'm sorry. I don't usually go barefoot, around the house yeah but not outside unless I'm swimming. I was born and raised in Southeastern VA ( in the city). You know around Portsmouth, Norfolk, VA Beach, ect. We're a bunch of southerners gone Yankee so to speak. Not to mention all the military around there. I don't even really consider us southerners, well ok, maybe some things about me are like some sayings I use and the love of southern food. But please don't let that get me a dishonorable disharge, banishment or shatter all your illusions. I can still learn and/or pretend.

No, I'm not the outdoorsy type. I loathe hot weather. I'm hot natured anyways. It's in the 50's here now, and I have the AC going because I'm still hot! Get out in the heat, and I can't breathe. I gotta have some coolin' coming from somewhere. I'll just be camperin' it or motelin' it one. And don't worry Grace, if I rent a camper, it's gonna be one of them thar RV thangs, with all the comforts of home! LOL I'm sure they'll be room for ya
