You'll get a lot of advice here- don't knock ANY of it. Better to be prepared than not. There ARE people who manipulate quite well, and spend a lot of money on it (trust me!)...Just set aside YOUR issues,K? For your own sake, but most importantly for your child's. Follow through with the process....Justice may be slow but it is NOT blind.

Wow, if I had let all come out in court about what you term "bio Dad", bio Dad would be in jail. I do lie to my son. I tell him daddy can't come right now because he's working. Three months and no contact from daddy.. and mommy has to lie to protect the child. Go bury yourself, you have NO clue what real parenting is about.

Listen people will say what they may- but I have an 'instinct' re; this. ( yea I hear the snickering- but am well respected in my field ) You can do this.

There are a lot of parent (Mothers & Fathers that misuse the system and their children) just don't be one of those people. Do the Right thing. It'll work out.
