I think there's more to the OP's story and intent of having minor kids photos on a website. The dangers involved for doing so is common knowledge for any responsible parent. Not sure about anyone else here, but I'm not buying this "story" for one minute.

There's this really nifty new service that you may not be aware of. It's called the United States Postal Service. Might want to look into it.
i agree. yahoo also has a picture service where u can post your daughters pictures and ONLY give the URL to family so u dont have pedifiles looking at your daughter.

Dating is not illegal, but it is adult material!
Everyone on there is looking for a date to hook-up with, that's adult material.

actually a lot of them are in relationships or married.... its not a hook up site...

I took a peek out of curiosity.
I'm disgusted!
About 95% were implying sex, dating, etc...
The browse section has you enter the age, location, marital status, etc...
Why the he!! would you post your child's image here?
If I found out my ex had our child on there, you can be damn skippy I'd print out the pages and see his azz in court!
Yeah the majority of the underlying tone is single parents looking to hook up. That is a perfect environment for child predators.

It has already been to court, The judge said her kids were on the site and she didn't find anything wrong with it. AGAIN, I've offered to make a password protected site just for my child and my ex refuses to even cooperate with that.
Did the judge know that it is a hook-up site with porn on it?

huh? You don't NEED her permission to password protect a site you have and maintain. Password protect it and then let her know it's protected.

So you're posting your kid's pic, and other identifying info, on a site that has openly horny people using it?

Myspace.com

A Place for Friends....

the only identifying info is a picture, and a city with the state...

i've said that maybe myspace is not such a great idea, but i don't think there is anything wrong with having a site for your child

ITs not a hookup site, and she said she is fully aware of what myspace.com is, her minor teenagers use the site as well....and its not porn....what is wrong with you.

OP's going to do what he likes anyway, so I think we're all wasting our typing.
Ditto! On the note of discussing predators and protecting kids, Dateline just had an undercover special on predators on the internet.
Anyone interested can take a look at www.perverted-justice.com

Funny, I was thinking the same thing about you.

Your ignorance will get your child hurt someday.
No, no, no. We're pverprotective because we refuse to allow images of our children to be available to the general public, and certainly on ADULT sites. Whether it's porn or not is irrelevant, btw. You have to be of a certain age to USE the site - so why would you think it's ok to post pics of underage people?
