Actually, you have to be 14 or older to be on myspace. However, much of what's posted there is pretty inappropriate for a "family" type blog site. IMO, of course.

Hi. Sorry, I am new here and was reading this and have a similar situation to the OP's ex. I hope I am not hijacking here but this issue really hit me. My ex has photos of our daughter on his online dating profile and it disgusts me. Can anything legally be done to make him remove her photos?

If you go to court you can ask that the child's picture be removed from the internet and not to be placed anywhere on the internet again, but its really up to the judge.

Ok I have to say something about you thinking your child wouldnt see any of these things.

My little one is 5 and she is pretty computer savy even showing her dad and brothers how to beat a level on a game and my husband is a computer guy in the military so hes really good at that stuff.

My point is try not to be naive as to what your child knows and can figure out. My kids have amazed/scared the wajibbes(its a made up word we use in my family) out of me with some of the things they could do or knew that I didnt have any idea about.

Just password protect your site and you could even consider using something like photobucket for free and leave it alone.

Save your battles for the really important issues.

i wouldn't want my child's picture plus city, state on the internet either.

If it were just one or the other it wouldn't be nearly as scary....

Even so I have heard of sickos using pictures of children fully clothed, photo shopping them and turning them into child porn.

Something to consider.
