The child is a BABY. She has NO idea what is going on around her. I'm not emotionally damaging her.

I think the reason the mother isn't pressing the child support issue much is because she knows she doesn't deserve it, and doesn't want to get in trouble in court.

Why were YOU at the hospital when mother was there? Mother shouldn't have spoken to you -- it ranks up there with the rules of DON'T FEED THE ZOO ANIMALS. You are showing your true colors -- that right there could be used to get a restraining order against you. Oh and the fact that you deleted your thread because you didn't like what you were told just proves your maturity level. This baby is soon going to be more mature than you.

Thankfully she has no idea. However, that will not change the fact that until your attitude is changed you will be looking at damaging this child.

Oh but she does deserve it. She has a court order AWARDING HER child support. hence, she deserves it. She could not be pressing it because she is giving dad the benefit of the doubt. She won't get in trouble in court. YOUR HUBBY however can -- and he can be sent to jail for being a deadbeat.

I applaud the mother of the child -- she is attempting to coparent with deadbeat hubby who is married to crazy. That cannot be easy for her -- even though she chose your hubby.

Ok from one stepmom to another you really need to shut up and sit down!! All you are doing is messing it up for your husband and causing tension between the parents that may not be there if YOU werent around.

Now I understand the frustration of not being able to control something that has such a HUGE effect in your life but YOU CANNOT CONTROL ANY OF THIS. End of story. You were not there when this baby was created....your egg, her egg and his sperm did not creat this baby therefore you dont have a say legally.

Now if you are sooo mad that this baby was created then take some control and MOVE ON. Whether that means leaving your husband or getting therapy take your pick. All you have control of is yourself so stop trying to sabotage and MOVE ON!!!

All of I've to say is N.Piearcy you are totally full of crap when you state that you love this child and then mention that her father should have been able to force Mom to have an abortion if he wasn't pleased about the pregnancy.

How would you feel if he spoke this way about a child YOU were carrying. Frankly, you'd be pretty horrified. So I guess you'd be much better Mommy material than Mom who chose to carry the pregnancy to term. How dare you think it's ok for you or your significant other to even think that you had any rights to dictate that the pregnancy be terminated.
