All of I've to say is OP you are totally full of crap when you state that you love this child and then mention that her father should have been able to force Mom to have an abortion if he wasn't pleased about the pregnancy.

How would you feel if he spoke this way about a child YOU were carrying. Frankly, you'd be pretty horrified. So I guess you'd be much better Mommy material than Mom who chose to carry the pregnancy to term. How dare you think it's ok for you or your significant other to even think that you had any rights to dictate that the pregnancy be terminated.

Pen is a grump today. I went and stayed over at a friend's house who had just lost her spouse of 34 years. (And yes she and I were both extremely young when she married him--she was 16 and I was 17). Anyway I had to drive home on the freeway. Got stuck in traffic for over an hour because a drunk got on the toll road going the wrong way and caused a fatality accident. When I got home it was between 3:00 and 4:00 in the morning.

Then at 7:30 this morning all of my smoke detectors went off in my house. I just had them replaced six months ago. Two of them were faulty and I was able to get the repair guy out here by 9:00 am to replace them for free.

So Pennie is a royal grouse today Too late to go to sleep so I'll just do the rest of my weekend chores. Including getting that dern new shovel.
