What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ca

So what are you all doing for St. Patty's? I'm going to put some corned beef on in a bit for corned beef and cabbage this evening for dinner, and then i'm going to bake a dark chocolate cake with Bailey's Irish Cream icing for the family.

I didn't even realize it was St. Pats until I went to get the kids ready for school and they were insistent that they have green shirts and socks on "or else we'll get pinched, mom!!"

i didn't realize it either until i did laundry last night. my 11 year old has a St Pat's day shirt and it hit me while i was folding it. then i had to tear through ALL of their clothing looking for something with green in it for the 7 year old. all that folding got ruined.

but that's about it for me. i'm not happy for corned beef and cabbage

Nuts, my kids are gonna get pinched. CALL CPS QUICK! Being off from work totally has screwed me up. I already got chicken already set for the grill. Can't have cabbage, makes DH sick.

Oh no, this is a terrible case of neglect. :p

I was really, really lucky that I managed to produce two green shirts. They were both 7yos but we let 6yo wear one of them.

When I was a kid I ALWAYS got pinched on St. Pat's because my mom always forgot to put green on me.

The only thing I know about is alcohol, and aside from a glass of wine, I don't expect to do much drinking with my toddler at my side. We will come up with some ST PAT games

Oh, we don't drink, so I have some ******elli's Cranberry Apple Cider for the kids to have with dinner.

My little doodle drop went in green today too!!! they are having a green snack party today, green jello, green cookies, green juice. last year they had green eggs and ham.....for real!!

I sent my little one in green shorts instead of the shirt that was three times to big for him that was bright green with skulls all over it. Of course his school has implemented the rule that before you pinch another student, you have to have permission from that student...laugh...kinda ruins St. Patty's Day....:)

OMG I think that sounds even better than corned beef and cabbage!! Maybe I should make shepherd's pie instead. I always make mine with beef instead of lamb too lol.

Well, 9yo Punk dresses himself so if he forgot the green that's his fault.

7yo Peanut needs supervision. I'm gonna add WHY. This child has no fashion sense AT ALL. When I went into the hospital to have Pipsqueak, DH let her go to school wearing a florescent blue Spongebob shirt (that she stole from her brother) and hot pink parachute pants. I wanted to KILL him. His excuse was that she should be able to express herself anyway she wants to and I informed him that she could so long as she didn't look like trailer trash. I'm pretty sure she went off to school in a red shirt and jeans (after I made her take off the purple sweatpants). So, OK, that ones on me.

Daddy dressed Pipsqueak this morning and I think he was in a blue shirt and overalls. That's Daddy's fault.

I'm wearing jeans and a Coke Polar Bear t-shirt. No green here. I'm gonna go with....I'm Polish. Yeah, that's it, I'm Polish. (Not joking, really am Polish, no offensiveness here).

Go Blondie! DH is at school and then he'll be home for 1/2 hour then go to work. Then I have to go back to work tomorrow. No St. Paddy fun for me. :(
