If it were then a felon couldn't disclaim a life insurance payout or an inheritance if he were a beneficiary, if part of the felon's sentence was to pay restitution to the victim?
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. ;)
Add another vote for moving, but a quick Google search shows that NC is not very friendly to grandparent visitation, especially after custody orders have been settled during a divorce. So, you could stay in-state if your own family is local...
Look through your records to see if you have the bank statement showing the wire transfer to the escrow company in 2017. The tax preparer may need that.
The realtor probably put a decent price on it because they work on commission. If you want it gone badly enough that you're willing to just stop paying taxes on it and trash your credit, see if the neighbor wants it for $1 and you split the title fees instead.

Look up the business name. There should be an address listed for serving lawsuits.
Also "you" can't serve the suit personally, a disinterested party has to do it, such as a process server or Sheriff's deputy. There is usually a fee for that.
My understanding of ingress/egress easements is that no, your neighbor does not have the right to park on any part of it. Sure, your little car could squeak by, but could an ambulance or fire truck?

You do not get to file a restraining order against relatives because they are mean or because they call child services on you. If they are that toxic then your legal recourse is for you and your boyfriend move out of state, don't leave a forwarding address, and block them on all social media.

I have had one employer that prohibited cell phones in the facility and they were really harsh about it.
That's easy enough to handle with some planning, it just takes a little fiscal discipline to set the tax money aside and send it to the IRS when the bill comes due.
OP also hasn't indicated if he is legally dad, if there are existing court orders for custody and child support, if he is claiming...
