     Oh no! My ssn is being suspended!

     If I'm not busy I waste their time until they hang up on me. I figure while I have them on the line they're not scamming someone else. I get the extended car warranty calls a lot. My commuter is a 20 year old Camry with 300k miles. For some reason they won't sell me a warranty.

     OP were you awarded any portion of your husband's military pension as part of the property settlement? If so has that information been reported to DFAS? If so then they already know he's divorced and have made the appropriate adjustments; the military financial systems are pretty well integrated.

      Some parts of CA have a pretty high cost of living and OP indicated he's moving out of state. If the OP's new job location is in an area with a lower cost of living that may be why the employer is justifying the lower salary.

      In NV a vehicle title can't be transferred if there is still a lien on it.       OP never did say if they agreed on a long-distance visitation plan with both parents sharing transportation after his ex moved away, or if they are still trying to adhere to a plan where they lived close together, his ex subsequently moved away, and they're still trying to follow the court...

So, in the next three weeks he will need to find an attorney, find one willing to represent him, pay for the attorney to get up to speed on the case, have the attorney draft and file the appeal, etc. All of this is do-able but...
