Yes you can, just make sure you send them a letter at thei last known address stating that their deposit was applied to unpaid rent. Do this within 30 days. I also belive that Tennessee law requires you to send it certified, return receipt requested.

Your landlord is correct. The law does not care about what time you choose to go to sleep. Also, 11:59pm would of been with in the construct of the Florida law.
Squatters are not entitled to the eviction moratorium laws. You are an not a legal tenant and should be treated as such. I can't beleive you haven't found a place since 10/20. Nice job teaching your son how to avoid the laws and live off a dead women's identity. Shame!!!
Unless served by a process server, it's unlikely that landlord will reply and will simply throw the questionnaire in the trash. Did you at least sent it certified?

Can anybody explain to me why the CDC moratorium on evictions has any merit whatsoever. As far as I know the CDC has no legislative power. Am I missing something?
It likely is legal since the landlord has the reight to know who is occupying his property. I find it humorous that your talking about legalities when you are illegally not paying your rent. And BTW....Florida is a VERY landlord friendly state.
